Current transformer cores in power system
Current transformer is a sensor used to measure current, widely used in power systems, energy meters, and electronic devices. Made by winding ultra microcrystalline strip, it has good soft magnetic properties through different heat treatment processes.
Performance advantages:
(1) High magnetic permeability reduces the measurement error of current transformers;
(2) Low loss - an ideal alternative material for Pomo alloy magnetic cores;
(3) High saturation magnetic induction intensity, lighter weight and lower price than Permalloy magnetic cores;
(4) Excellent high and low temperature characteristics, working range: -55~130 ℃
Application areas:
Epoxy encapsulated sleeve type current transformer;
Gas insulated or oil immersed switchgear;
Low voltage, medium voltage, and high voltage switchgear;
Used for safe and efficient measurement and relay protection in high-voltage, high current power plants and substations.
